The El Ticket Story

When the Covid-19 Pandemic thwarted the momentum of hyped San Diego supergroup Little Evil, singer/guitarist Anthony Amoroso and bassist Nick Palumbo decided to use their time as effective prisoners to sharpen their skills and up their game.  After recruiting long time friend and multi-instrumentalist James Womack, they knew immediately that they were creating something special that was both unique and new, but familiar at the same time.

With El Ticket blending their passion for Pop and Rock music with a deep appreciation for Mexican culture, this band of gringos quickly found their stride and released their debut EP entitled Flaminghosts Demos as a nod to their ill-fated original band name Flaminghosts.  Songs in both Spanish and English, fast or slow, dance grooves to heart breakers, El Ticket is a band who is not afraid to do something different and can not be easily placed into a single genre.

Taking inspiration from decades of Pop and Rock music, El Ticket has made a concerted effort to create music that is authentic to who they are as musicians.  Whether it’s a ballad, aggressive punk, reverb laden surf, or a soulful jam, El Ticket has something in their repertoire for all music fans.
